And welcome to my BIT 330 term project site. This site will introduce some of the basics about green buildings, information about LEED certification and news, how to stay current on green building news, legislation, and more.
I will be focusing on the ever-changing and improving world of green buildings. This site will eventually cover many topics within green buildings, such as materials, certifications, legislation, and also the benefits, both monetary and environmentally, that having a green building can give.
I am doing my project on this because I see not only green buildings, but alternative energy, reducing carbon emissions, and the like as a huge business in the coming years, and it is important for everyone to stay on top of what is going on and how it will affect us.
